(BLOG TOUR) Fantasy Casting: Jackson from TEMPEST

Today I am happy to be posting a promotional piece for the book TEMPEST by Julie Cross. I really liked this book and am excited to be part of the official blog tour hosted by BOOKS COMPLETE ME and ONCE UPON A TWILIGHT.

Here’s how this works: The author has chosen an actor she thinks fits the main character of Jackson and I have chosen a different actor. YOU, my readers, get to choose who you like the best! All you have to do is comment on this post with your choice OR write in your own nomination. Once you comment be sure to fill out this FORM to be entered to win 1 of 5 copies of TEMPEST. You can enter to win on each blog stop, giving you a total of 15 entries.

Here are the two choices (and an exclusive teaser sentence from TEMPEST):

October 10, 2007 (4:32 p.m.)
“I wonder how many times we’ve had this exact same conversation?”

So what do you think? Comment below with your thoughts on the two choices or choose another actor you like better!

The year is 2009. Nineteen-year-old Jackson Meyer is a normal guy… he’s in college, has a girlfriend… and he can travel back through time. But it’s not like the movies – nothing changes in the present after his jumps, there’s no space-time continuum issues or broken flux capacitors – it’s just harmless fun.

That is… until the day strangers burst in on Jackson and his girlfriend, Holly, and during a struggle with Jackson, Holly is fatally shot. In his panic, Jackson jumps back two years to 2007, but this is not like his previous time jumps. Now he’s stuck in 2007 and can’t get back to the future.

Desperate to somehow return to 2009 to save Holly but unable to return to his rightful year, Jackson settles into 2007 and learns what he can about his abilities.

But it’s not long before the people who shot Holly in 2009 come looking for Jackson in the past, and these “Enemies of Time” will stop at nothing to recruit this powerful young time-traveler. Recruit… or kill him.

Piecing together the clues about his father, the Enemies of Time, and himself, Jackson must decide how far he’s willing to go to save Holly… and possibly the entire world.

We put “Tempest” on our fantasy casting website, so Julie and the fans and everybody can ‘cast’ it. Go have fun. http://www.storycasting.com/work.aspx?id=1c05f2de-70f4-495d-846c-7822293d7fb0

  11. I loved reading Tempest and posted a view back in Oct., but would LOVE a signed copy sooooo very much! I’m not familiar with either actor, but think Drew Roy ‘looks’ more the part to me.
I read an older ARC version off of Netgalley and so only had it for a short amount of time. *keeps fingers crossed*
    Happy Holidays!
